The 2010 Novena will take place from July 17 to 25. Saint Anne's Feast Day is July 26.
This year, the preacher for the English Novena will be Father Guy Desrochers, C.Ss.R. Fr. Guy was born in Gatineau in 1956. After working as a graphic artist for 7 years, he studied theology at Laval University in Quebec City, and was ordained a priest in 1989. He is a member of the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Redemptorist Province.
Since his ordination, Fr. Guy has been preaching parish missions throughout Canada and the United States. In 1989, he participated in a special missionary project in Gaspé, and then became rector of two retreat houses over a period of six years. Since September 2008, he has been the General Editor of La Revue Sainte-Anne and The Annals of Saint Anne. He is also a member of a small international community of Redemptorists based in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, and ministers at the Basilica throughout the year.
