The Feast Day of Saint Anne is always celebrated on July 26. This feast is preceded by nine days of spiritual preparation, the novena, during which a special predication is given. The novena and Feast Day are the highlights, "par excellence", of the entire pilgrimage season.

The novena always draws great interest from pilgrims and visitors, as well as from local parishioners and those coming from neighbouring communities. Many people who are sick or infirm also come to the Shrine at this time, especially those who are welcomed by the Committee of Hope.
