Many pilgrims, while at the Shrine, take the time to request a Mass intention. This is an act of faith; the faith of a Christian who wants to collaborate with the works of the Shrine, who wants to pray and do something special for one or many of their intentions, or who wants to thank the Lord for having come to their aid.
