Behind the miraculous statue of Saint Anne, we find the chapel of Saint Anne, which is also called the "Chapel of the Relic".
A large mosaic representing Saint Anne decorates the vault. With her large cloak, she draws in and protects the pilgrim people, poor or handicapped, who gather around her.
The materials used for this chapel came from the four corners of the world. A reliquary houses the great relic of Saint Anne that Pope John XXIII gave to the Shrine in 1960.
