The glorification of Saint Anne is seen on the vault of the apse (the part of the vault found over the sanctuary). Here we see Saint Anne with Mary and Jesus. Saint Anne is presenting a fruit to Jesus, the fruit of life: a symbol of his mission as Redeemer, who came to save the world from original sin, the fruit of death. |
On the wall surrounding the sanctuary, a mosaic depicts nine different scenes representing the history of the Eucharist. |
