Lord Jesus, you wished to be born into an earthly family, a family like our own where we learn love and tenderness, faith and prayer, compassion, and mutual support.

Through the intercession of Saint Anne, we ask you to bless our family. Give us the support of your grace. May we remain united in dialogue, understanding, and faithfulness.

Grant us the desire to give life, foster it, and protect it. When the storms of our existence on earth threaten us, teach us patience, courage, and perseverance. Heal our wounds and enable us to forgive.

Lord, revive our faith, comfort our hope, and teach us to love. With Anne and Joachim, also with Mary and Joseph as our models and guides, may our hearts be open to you, so that we may live with you for ever as members of your heavenly family. AMEN.
