Saint Anne, I have set out and undertaken this pilgrimage to visit you. As a pilgrim on earth, I finally enter your home with both my sufferings and dreams, with a craving heart, yet with a soul filled with confidence. I find myself swept away by the prayers of thousands of pilgrims who have resorted to your kindness throughout the centuries. No one has returned home without having experienced your consolation.

Saint Anne, please obtain for me a particular blessing. As the privileged grandmother of Jesus, pray to him that I may obtain this special favour, if it be the will of God…

Here I am with the faith of a child who has learned from Jesus himself to ask for daily bread and strength. I leave it to your kindness to intercede on my behalf and I entrust to your care the material and spiritual needs of my family, of those who are dear to me, and of all my brothers and sisters throughout the world.
